1. Get backdoor key from keybox in basement, code supplied.

2. Turn water pump on downstairs – power switch on the wall at the left end of the laundry bench, by keybox, after turning on mains at switchboard upstairs).

3. Hot water. Turn on electric hotwater cylinder (inside cupboard by fire).

4. Wood pellets for the fire in shed on the hill, to the right of the house.

5. Please replace any food used during your stay. Petrol and LPG (BBQ) can be purchased from the garage, down beside the Community Centre. Garage is open weekdays, and Saturday mornings.

1. Please leave all windows closed and lights off. Take special care to close bedroom bifolds top and bottom latches fully – they have blown open in a NW gale with consequent flooding. Turn off electric hotwater.

2. We like to leave fridge empty, if possible & turned off.

3. Make sure washing machine is turned off at the wall, and replace the dust cover.

4. Rubbish & recyclables are collected on Tuesdays – left at the corner point of the three driveways. Fawn rubbish bags in pantry.

5. Turn off the power at switchboard, make sure water pump is off.

Welcome to use it, petrol available at garage, replace what you use. We like to leave the car’s battery on trickle charge while not being used. This is the black battery charger, the red charger cant be left attached to the battery

Keep wet dive suits contained in bags to prevent car carpets getting wet

Filled with cold water from tap, then heated with wood fire beneath. Empty the next day– as letting out the hot water will both kill any vegetation & probably crack the bath. Main worry is FIRE. Don’t use if windy. Closely supervise any fire please.
